STATEMENT
I am a printmaker and mix media artist.
A significant part of my work explore the role(s) individuals and groups assume as they pass and/or enter environments. The tools we employ to process information and the context of our understandings are themes found in my work.
BIO
Romson Regarde Bustillo was born on the island of Mindanao in Cagayan de Oro City, the Philippines. His work is represented in private and public collections nationally and internationally, including ArtColl Trust, the Washington State Art Commission, ACRS, Quest Stadium, Indigo S.A.(Barcelona) and the Wing Luke Asian Museum. He has been an artist in residence and instructor for Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle, Tacoma Art Museum(NEA Supported), Seattle Art Museum, the James and Janie Washington Foundation, Wing Luke Asian Museum and the Brooklyn Public Library. He is primarily a self taught artist.
